Essential SharePoint for Project Management

In this hands-on workshop, students learn how to leverage SharePoint across the lifecycle of managing a project. Participants will use SharePoint features and PMI best practices to improve project collaboration and success rates. Examples of SharePoint team sites are utilized in the labs, and students will build their own team site template to take back with them for immediate application back on the job. Topics include using document libraries to store project documentation, process automation using the workflow foundation, managing security and permissions, synchronizing task lists with MS Project, as well as using shared calendars, issue and risk logs, and other available web parts and plug-ins.

SharePoint for Team Members

Project Integrators offers training for the end users of your SharePoint system. This hands on workshop will walk your team members through the features of your SharePoint system. Students will see a demonstration of the features, and then practice on your SharePoint environment or our hosted environment. Topics include uploading files to document libraries, synchronizing tasks, discussions, calendars and contacts with Microsoft Outlook, using RSS and alert me notifications, entering new items to lists as well as creating document and meeting workspaces, working with infopath forms and workflows.
